The Bible Course for Children

The Path

In the 12th Bible course, we saw that the Lord Jesus had to die so that God could show you the way by which you can come to Him in heaven. This is something you surely want, isn't it? When you think about how sometimes even children die, for example, through car accidents or illness, then you see that even children need the Lord Jesus as their Savior.

But which way leads to heaven? The disciples of the Lord Jesus wanted to know this too.

You can read it in the Gospel of John, chapter 14 verses 1 to 6. The Lord Jesus told the disciples about heaven (verses 1 to 3).

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe on God, believe also on me. In my Father’s house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place; and if I go and will prepare you a place, I am coming again and will receive you to myself, that where I am you also may be. And you know where I go, and you know the way. Thomas says to him, Lord, we know not where you go, and how can we know the way? Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me” (John 14:1-6).
