Died to sin

Through Adam's transgression, sin came upon all mankind. But where sin abounded, grace has overabounded (Romans 5:20).

Sin no longer reigns over us (Romans 5:21 and 6:14).

To understand why, first read Romans 6.

There is no reason to continue in sin, because grace is so great (chapter 6:1).

For why is a life in sin not compatible with being a Christian (verse 2)?
