The Acts of the Apostles - Part 3

You get to know the beginnings of Christianity in the Acts of the Apostles, the formation of the church (or assembly, congregation).

The book can be divided into three sections after chapter 1,8 ("You will be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth"), accordingly the course is offered in three parts.

The third part of the course on the Acts of the Apostles covers the remaining chapters 13 to 28.

• The Apostle Paul, along with other men, begins the first missionary journey, thus proclaiming the Gospel to the Gentiles.
• Dangerous disputes over questions of the law threaten to divide the church. However, the dispute can be resolved at a meeting in Jerusalem.
• The remaining chapters deal with the second and third missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul and his adventurous sea journey as a prisoner to Rome.
