About 40 people wrote 66 books over a period of about 1500 years that form a unity - that in itself is a great miracle!
But that's not all. These forty writers were by no means forty people with the same education and knowledge. Among them are kings, farmers, fishermen, doctors and others, i.e. educated and less educated people. Their characters and life habits were also different. Despite these differences, they put together a masterful composition of 66 books.
We will delve a little deeper into this in this lesson.
Let's return to Moses. In his writings, you can learn a lot about his background, his life, his character, and his faith. The New Testament speaks also about him.

After 40 years in Midian, Moses led Israel out of Egypt and guided the people through the wilderness for 40 years. During the desert journey, he wrote down the five books of Moses. We find references to his activity as a scribe time and again.
Moses was highly educated. However, this is not the case for all writers of the Bible.
Sixteen prophets - sometimes one speaks of four major and twelve minor prophets - have left us inspired writings. One of the twelve "minor" prophets is Amos. Read the beginning of his book and also Amos 7:14-15!
Amos was among the of Tekoa, a city in Judah. He served during the reigns of King of Judah and Jeroboam II of Israel. The time of his prophetic ministry was around 765-750 BC. He did not attend a school of prophets. He was a and gathered (i.e., cultivated) .
