The Twelve Disciples

James and John

We know that James and John were brothers. We also know that they were fishermen by trade. As they are mending their nets, the Lord Jesus calls them, and they immediately follow their Master.

If we ask ourselves about which disciple the Bible tells us the most, then it is Simon Peter. But after Peter comes John and James. These three are mentioned very frequently and occupy a special position among the disciples.

Now read Mark 1:19 and 20.
