The Twelve Disciples

Peter, James, and John

Did you know that of the twelve disciples, sometimes only three disciples were allowed to accompany Jesus? Only Peter, James and John were present when

  • the daughter of Jairus was raised,
  • the Lord Jesus was glorified on the mountain,
  • when their Master was so distressed in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Later, the disciples told of what they had seen. It was later put into writing, so we can still read their experiences today.

Let us accompany these disciples in our thoguhts to see more of the power and glory but also the sufferings of the Lord Jesus.
