The Twelve Disciples

Simon Peter (2)

Jerusalem is the most important city in Israel. The Temple is located there and many scribes also live there. These are people who study the Scripture (= Bible).

Nevertheless, Jesus is not often in this city. He most often preaches in the despised north, in Galilee. He also lives there.

Please refer to Matthew 4:12-17.

People see and hear Jesus most in the city of Capernaum and its surroundings. Most of the miracles also happen there. Peter also lives in Capernaum.
