What do you think about starting today with a riddle?
Here are Bible verses and words jumbled up. Two words and a Bible verse always go together. Your task now is to sort them:
First you read the Bible verse, then you look for which of the word pairs appear there and then you move them to the Bible verse.
(By the way: Ephesians 6,1+2 means Chapter 6 verses 1 and 2)
Your response:
When completing the puzzle, you read the Gospel of John 6:5-13.
There it tells us that the Lord Jesus gave enough food to a huge crowd of people so that all were filled. Contemplate what happened: It had become evening and hence mealtime. Many people were with the Lord Jesus, but they had no bread with them. What now?
Philip, a disciple of the Lord Jesus, does not know either. What does he say?
But look, here comes Andrew. He has found a small boy among all the many people who still has something with him. Andrew does the best thing he can do: HE BRINGS HIM TO THE LORD JESUS.
What does the boy have with him?
The boy has and fish.
Andrew looks at the few loaves and fishes, then at the crowd of people."No," he thinks, "that won't help either."
Now, the Lord Jesus makes sure that the people sit down on the grass. And then a miracle happens! Thousands of people are fed with the few loaves and fishes.
5000 men, many women and children are satisfied! There is enough for everyone, there is even much left over.
