For the final lesson, first read the twelfth chapter of Acts of the Apostles, then answer the questions about it.
The Herod mentioned in verse 1 is Herod Agrippa I. He was a grandson of Herod the Great, the child murderer of Bethlehem (Matthew 2:16).
All the kings from the lineage of Herod the Great were bloodthirsty men who didn't value the lives of their family members and others.
