Sin - Forgiveness - Salvation

What is Sin?

Sin is disobedience and rebellion against God. We have transgressed His commandments and are thus guilty before Him.

Perhaps someone says, "I haven't broken all the commandments", but then God's Word explains: “For whoever will keep the whole law and will offend in one point, he has come under the guilt of breaking all.” (James 2:10).

How is Forgiveness of Sins and Salvation Possible?

God has paved a way in Jesus Christ on which our sins can be paid for, that is, on which He can forgive the sin.

Whoever walks this way will receive salvation from the coming wrath of God over the sin.

We will dig more into these terms and their significance for every person in this lesson.
