The person born again is a child of God.
Just as we come into a family through natural birth, we are taken into the family of God through rebirth. God becomes our Father in Jesus Christ; we become his children, children of God.
We read in Romans 8:15-17 and 1 John 3:1-2 that all who believe in Jesus Christ are children of God.
How does one become a child of God?
Read John 1:9-18 thoroughly and answer the following questions:

Who has come into the world? Answer: (end of verse 17).
He is first called the true in verse 9. As at the beginning of the chapter, He is named the in verse 14, and finally in verse 18 as the only-begotten .
What must one have done to become a child of God? Answer: Jesus Christ in (verse 12 beginning), by believing in His (verse 12 end).
Does the right to be a child of God apply already for the present, or only for the future? (1 John 3:2)
The Bible verse says, "Beloved, are we children of God" - that is a clear answer!
What is the "Family Record Book" in which the children of God are registered? (Philippians 4:3)
With what love are the children of God loved? (John 17:23)
